A Bit About Me
Michy, originally from El Salvador, currently resides in the Northwest Territories, working as a Museum Curator at the Northern Life Museum & Cultural Centre, while also channeling her creativity into fashion design, having graduated with top honors in the field.. Michy's journey led her to explore her artistic passions further, culminating her studies at St. Lawrence College in Brockville, Ontario. It was here that she reignited her creativity, particularly drawn to the concept of recycling media.
Michy's versatility shines through landscapes, sculptures, portraits, and sewing projects. With a fusion of influences from her homeland, academic pursuits, and global inspirations, Michy's art encapsulates a unique blend of cultural diversity and personal expression, inviting viewers into a world where creativity knows no bounds.
